Medical Conditions
Pre-existing medical conditions are often excluded from mainstream travel insurance policies, but MediSafe Travel Insurance specialises in this area, meaning that you can buy travel insurance cover for all the conditions that you have – as long as you have a diagnosis of a condition we can cover it (if you’re waiting for an investigation we’ll have to wait until you know more about your condition).

Your health is important, and this makes it terribly important that you maintain your health while you’re away, and should the worst happen and you become ill, either through an existing medical condition or a new incident of illness, then we’ll make sure that you are treated while your away, and we’ll get you back home as soon as you are safe to travel.
As most people are aware medical treatment abroad differs from the UK, it’s either not of the same standard, in which case we’ll get you to a quality hospital where you can be looked after properly, or its extremely expensive, such as in the USA, in which case we’ll be picking up the bills, so you don’t have to worry about the cost of the treatment – just concentrate on getting well again.
We know that because of these issues it’s important that travellers are properly protected, and never more so than when that traveller already has a medical condition. As with any insurance it’s important that you declare everything to us to ensure that you are properly protected by your travel insurance while you’re on holiday.
